Prepare a workshop

Following the success of the workshops organised during the 2016 PCMI
colloquium, we propose to devote again one day of the 2018 colloquium
to the organisation of workshops. These workshops will last 1/2 day and
at most two workshop will occur simultaneously. Hence, we plan to
   organise four workshops maximum.

We invite you to submit workshop ideas. The goal of the workshops is to
foster opened and extensive discussions around a theme that could
interest a large fraction of the PCMI community. In contrast with the
plenary sessions where the presentations have to be understandable by
all the community, the workshops could gather specialists of the
field. Presentations and discussions could thus be
   technical.

To favour active discussion of the proposed topic we propose the
following organisation: Participants will send 2 or 3 slides to
the organizers several weeks in advance of the workshop. These slides
will be gathered and distributed to the community the week before the
conference so that the participants may think about it. During the
workshop itself, the slides will be briefly presented by the
contributors and discussed by the audience. The organisers will chair
the workshops and they will deliver a short summary during the plenary
sessions.  However, organisers are free to propose alternative
   organisation for the workshop.

Your proposition of workshop must contain the following information:
     * Title
     * Names and emails of 2 or 3 organizers.
     * A short text in english explaining the importance of the subject
and the reasons why discussions during a workshop are well suited
to treat this subject. We recommend that the text be understandable
by the whole community as it will present the workshop on the
       conference web site.
Please use the format available here and submit your proposition using
the "Submission (abstract or workshop)" tab.

Enfin, je propose qu'on utilise le meme template de document que pour les
contributions orales ou poster. Il suffit de le referencer dans les
phrases :
